A Quest!

I’ve decided that as a followup to my poutine adventure (make sure you read that one right) I’m planning another meal for myself. Burrito.

I’ve had burritos on the mind like crazy recently, and I can’t exactly explain why. I had a burrito from Qdobas on my way back to school after Spring break. I had a burrito last night. And still, I want more burritos. I’m kind of disgusting.

To be fair, this kind of craving isn’t anything new. I can’t function without tacos/mexican food. It’s a serious problem. While at home I will eat it about… 3-5 times a week probably. I don’t know, it has its cycles. But it’s not uncommon for me to eat it every day for a week or two.

So I have decided that I should cook again, since I’ll be needing to fend for myself next year. (Moving from the dorms to a house off-campus) And I figured, why not kill two birds with one stone?

Step one: Make homemade queso. I’m going to want a delicious, spicy burrito. Queso is giong to be a must (inspired by Qdobas) and I might as well make it myself.

Step two: Decide between ground beef and chicken. This is… hard. I’m leaning towards chicken though. It’s healthier and a personal preference.

Step three: How am I making this exactly? I should probably figure that out.

Step four: Actually go home and make it. Sadly, it might take a while to reach this step.

Well, I’ve run out of things to ramble on about. I have no idea when I will follow this up with the actual making-of-the-burrito post. But I’m looking forward to it almost as much as I’m looking forward to eating the damn thing.
